Being Human
Ok so every once in a while I may post a favorite quote from a book or poem.
Forgive me if it's not your things but I find that written word is woven into the fabric of Motherhood and it can really serve to remind us that were are in fact, never alone.
So here is one from Glennon Doyle--feminist, mother, wife, ordinary and profound thinker, lifelong crusader for the truth.
I used to think that my feelings were weak or not substantial enough to merit value. I now know that feelings are for feeling and TO FEEL is a sign of living an awake life.
Also, emotions are temporary-- kind of like when you drive through a tunnel and hold your breath and know that the tunnel will end and you will breathe again.
If you are IN IT today, knee deep in all the feels, please remember that this tunnel will end and you will take a breath back into yourself.
You got this. We got this.
